Large Grazing Platter – Camphor Laurel

The Grazing Platter – Camphor Laurel is a large platter perfect for those who love entertaining. Each grazing platter is handmade in QLD from camphor laurel and each board has unique colouring and grains. Each grazing platter is crafted from a single slab. The kiln drying process and the natural oils within the camphor laurel means that the grazing platters are permanently and naturally antibacterial.

The dimensions of the grazing platter are as follows 1000mm (1m) x 300mm (30cm). Its depth is about 25 -30mm. Other sizes of the grazing platter are available upon request.

Large Grazing Platter Engraving Options

Some customers have requested grazing platters without engraving and this is certainly an option.

As the grazing platter is a large item and there are different engraving options.

A standard size engraving is approximately 210x210mm.

A large size engraving may include engraving the family name along the board. Engraving height may be up to 1/3 or the board.

How Do I Care For My Grazing Platter?

When it comes to looking after your new grazing platter, simply wash with warm soapy water after use and leave to dry vertically in the rack. Do not soak the grazing platter in water or put in the dishwasher.

How And What Do I Oil My Grazing Platter With?

The grazing platter arrives oiled and requires an initial oil before use. Simply wipe some food-grade oil over and let it soak for 5-10min then wipe off the excess.

Depending on use, re-oil your board every month or whenever it looks a bit dull. You can use vegetable oil or grapeseed oil.

What Wood Does Blacklist Prints Use?

These grazing platters are made from Camphor Laurel. Wood is a natural product and each board has its own unique characteristics and that is the charm of these grazing platters. No two platters are alike. The platters photographed are a representation of the wood used in this product. The grains, knots and colouring will differ from board to board.

Do You Engrave Custom Grazing Platters?

Absolutely. At Blacklist Prints we are passionate about creating custom artwork for our customers. If you wish to order a custom board from us please contact our friendly staff. Please advise our staff what details and graphics you would like to have engraved. Once your artwork has been completed we will contact you with a proof to approve before we engrave your chopping board.

Lead Times

The standard lead time that we allow for all our orders is 7-10 Business Days. This is the time we allow to design, print or engrave, build where necessary and dispatch items. Once an order is posted it is up to Australia Post / Courier for delivery. 

We understand that you may require your item in a shorter time frame. In many cases, we can accommodate rush orders.  Please be in contact with our team to find out the availability of a Priority Rush and Rush orders prior to completing your order. 

Priority Rush – This gives your order priority over all other orders and we will endeavour to have your product emailed or dispatched within 1-2 business days. 

Rush – These orders are bumped up the production queue. We endeavour to have orders completed in 3-5 business days. 

Please Note: delays in artwork approval will affect our ability to dispatch within the priority time. Also, it is important to check with a team member if we are available to accommodate a rush order.
